I recently purchased the digital download of Labyrinths of the World: Shattered Soul and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. As a fan of hidden object puzzle adventure games, I have played my fair share, and this one definitely stands out.
First off, the graphics are stunning. The attention to detail in every scene is breathtaking, and the animation is smooth and fluid. The design of the labyrinths themselves is top-notch, with intricate puzzles and challenging obstacles to overcome.
The storyline is also very engaging. I won’t give too much away, but the premise of searching for missing souls and restoring balance to the world had me hooked from the start. The characters you encounter along the way are well-developed and add depth to the overall plot.
One of the things I appreciate about this game is the variety of puzzles and mini-games. They range from your typical hidden object scenes to more unique challenges that require a bit of thinking outside the box. It kept the gameplay fresh and kept me on my toes.
The game also has a great hint system, which I utilized a few times when I got stuck. It’s not too obvious, but also not so difficult that I found myself getting frustrated. The balance was just right.
My only complaint would be that the game is a bit on the shorter side. I finished it in about 4 hours, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I just wish there was more to explore and discover in this fascinating world.
